We are delighted to be joined by Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill CBE, Minister for Rail for our next Leading London dinner.
Lord Hendy will provide his remarks on the Government’s priorities for transport, including rail reform and international rail connectivity and there will be an exclusive insight on the plans for HS2 and Euston. This dinner will be an opportunity to examine how the private sector can support the Government’s plans for rail as we focus on the Spending Review.
Lord Hendy was appointed Minister for Rail in July 2024 and was previously the Chair of Network Rail, Chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation and Commissioner of Transport for London for nearly 10 years. He was knighted in the 2013 New Year’s Honours List, having been made CBE in 2006.
