The Building London Planning Awards, in partnership with the Mayor of London, returns in 2024 for a 20th year. The prestigious awards celebrate innovative projects that are leaders in design and sustainability across the capital.
The winners of the 2024 competition will be announced at our awards drinks reception later in the year. This year’s competition shortlist features seven categories and the event will be an opportunity for shortlisted entrants, local government and built environment leaders to enjoy an evening of high-quality networking.
This year’s categories are:
- Best New Place to Live
- Best New Place to Work
- Best Mixed-Use Scheme
- Best Heritage or Culture Project
- Best Project for Sustainable Planning
- Best Community Engagement Outcomes
- Best Borough-led project
In addition, we will also be presenting the Mayors Award for Good Growth to one of the category winners at the ceremony itself.
Competition entries are shortlisted by a judging panel from 91¶¶Òù and our partner organisations; The BAME Planners Network, The Greater London Authority, Planning Officer’s Society and the RTPI — who bring unique industry perspective and experience to their assessment.
