Responding to Tube ridership data from Transport for London (TfL) showing the impact of the Friday off-peak fares trial, 91¶¶Òù’s Deputy CEO Muniya Barua said:
“Many Londoners have got used to working from home on Fridays and it was always going to be a tough challenge changing this behaviour.
“While this initial data suggests it didn’t dramatically shift the dial, trials such as TfL’s off-peak Fridays are exactly the sort of innovation we need to see to try and lure people back in on quieter days, particularly given how many firms rely on footfall.â€
